Dr. Rodriguez-Samarkos has completed advanced training in cosmetic, general, orthodontic, neuromuscular, and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Rodriguez-Samarkos is an active member of the Alachua Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Rodriguez-Samarkos and her husband Dr. John Samarkos have two children, Andres and Nicolas, and a beautiful white Bichon named Rocco. In addition to staying busy with their children’s activities such as baseball and golf tournaments, they enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family in Tarpon Springs and Puerto Rico. Dr. Rodriguez-Samarkos also enjoys cooking, reading, and water aerobics.

Dr. Rodriguez-Samarkos moved to Gainesville for her undergraduate studies and liked it so much, she decided to make it her family home. She is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish. She and her husband started their dental practice in 1993.

A Tarpon Spring native, Dr. Samarkos moved to Gainesville for his undergraduate studies and liked it so much, he decided to stay. He and his wife Dr. Maria Rodriguez-Samarkos started their dental practice together in 1993.
